Common and John Legend's "Glory," from the movie "Selma," wins Best Original Song at the 87th Academy Awards.In 2006, Three 6 Mafia won an Oscar for "It's Hard Out Here for a Pimp," from the "Hustle & Flow" soundtrack. Nine years later, at tonight's Academy Awards, another rapper--Common--has taken home the golden statue for Best Original Song. He shared the Award with GOOD labelmate John Legend for their work together on "Glory," from the movie "Selma." Common also co-starred in the film, playing Civil Rights leader James Bevel.

During the ceremony, Common and Legend performed "Glory" and received a standing ovation. Watch the performance below.

John Legend closed their acceptance speech, saying: "Selma is now, because the struggle for justice is right now."
