We throw it back to Nate Dogg once more, this time with his own cuts.Last month we took a look at Nate Dogg's dopest features, but the late legend put out some incredible work of his own too. We felt it was only right to take a look at 10 originals Nate Dogg put out, including ones released by 213, his group with Snoop Dogg and Warren G. Nate Dogg released three albums in addition to that 213 LP, each with a sound of its own. Of course Nate Dogg was best known for his ability to lay down the perfect hook, but he could also flow a verse if need be.
From Daz Dillinger-produced cuts on his debut to the Kanye West beat on 213's album, this list is chalk full of goodies. Each one is stamped with Nate Dogg's signature voice. The king of the hook has done his thing to propel G-funk music along with the careers of Snoop Dogg, Eminem and even guys like 2Pac. This Thursday we honor him with this throwback.
